Bishop Berkley meets with Prime Minister Stuart Young

The Right Reverend Claude Berkley, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese, was part of a group of religious heads and leaders who met with the Honourable Stuart R. Young S.C., Prime Minister, at Whitehall, as he began work on one of his Government’s priority areas – the reform of Trinidad and Tobago’s education system.

Also present at the meeting was Dr the Hon. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly, Minister of Education.


The meeting’s discussions focused on addressing critical challenges within the current education landscape including, staffing of vacancies, the need for more social workers/guidance counsellors and schools’ infrastructure.
