He served as the 10th Bishop of Trinidad and Tobago from 1993 – 2001. Educated at Kelham Theological College, he was ordained in 1960 and began his ecclesiastical career with a curacy at All Saints’ Anglican Church, Port of Spain. Following this, he served incumbencies at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Princes Town; Good Shepherd Anglican Church, Tunapuna and All Saints’ Anglican Church. Later, he was Dean of Holy Trinity Cathedral in Port of Spain before his elevation to the Episcopate in 1993, serving for nine years. The Right Reverend Rawle Douglin was the second local Bishop of Trinidad and Tobago.
