Several animals were blessed during a special service at the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Mounted and Canine Branch, in St James on Wednesday morning.

The animals were blessed during a special service in remembrance of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Animals, and his love for them.

Along with the horses and dogs of the Police Service, several pet owners brought their pets to be blessed at the special mass.
