Terrence La Caille via facebook 21/10/2018:
Good evening my Facebook family.
At this current time our country (Trinidad and Tobago) is going through some tough times and disaster isn’t nice at all. To every bad there is good and where there is good there is love. I have always lived life being on the fence. We need to accept the fact with being 50% Sad we are still 50% Happy.
I am a bit happy that this country is going through what we’re going through right now. We have this mind set that “god is a Trini” and we continue to tear down the walls of humanity! We needed this wake up call to rebuild our nation.
We are now showing that our national motto “together we aspire, together we achieve” has a lot of meaning. Watching news this evening I have seen every creed and race (Indian, Muslim, Negro, Chinese, Cocausian) coming together, not being forced to but willingly meeting up and agreeing to help each other to reach a better place in life.
Why must we wait until bad/ disastrous times to show that we can come together and be one family?
Jason Mc Kenzie shared via Whats App 21/10/2018:
? Almighty God we come tonight to beg you for your mercy upon our nation. Lord spare us from any further disaster. Protect us from harmful and fearful experiences lord. Give us a peaceful night as we attempt to rest and settle our vulnerable aged and young children. Please forgive us for our disobedience to you and wickedness to each other. Father we hear your warning and we will humble ourselves. We will love and respect our brothers and sisters of all races, religion, gender & status! You are master Lord and we need you to hear us and forgive us tonight. Lord hear us, graciously hear us. Amen.
Please forward so our nation will pray tonight for all our safety. God is waiting to see what we do now!
