Grace Church Member Survives Highway Tragedy

Grace Church Member, Selvyn Kennedy described his close call to the Trinidad Express Newspaper:

PRINCES Town resident Selvyn Kennedy was on his way to work at the Ministry of Finance in Port of Spain yesterday morning, when he got a chance at a second life.

A truck crashed into the bus he was travelling in along the highway at Chaguanas.

“There was blood everywhere. People were screaming. I was confused. Something went into my eyes and my phone fell out of my hands,” he said.

St. Mary Parish (Tacarigua) Lay Minister, Marc Haynes offered a prayer of gratitude for Selvyn via the T&T Anglican Church Whats App Group: “Our dear brother @Selvyn Kennedy was spared by God yesterday. Thank God for sparing him and our heart goes out to all who were injured or lost their lives.”
