It is with saddened hearts that we confirm the death of Mrs. Dawn Beard-
Berkley, beloved wife of Bishop Claude Berkley, who passed on September 27, 2022, after an extended period of illness. Dawn was a recently retired primary school teacher.
The family conveys their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of comfort and condolences that have been received from so many people who knew
and loved Dawn. At this time of grief and sorrow, the family is withdrawing together to privately mourn their loss.
The Bishop requests that persons who may wish to send expressions of sympathy and support can do so by contacting The Bishop’s Secretary at
the Diocesan Office, 622 7387. Bishop Berkley and his family will respond individually as soon as they are able. In the meantime, the family asks for your continuing prayers of support and love.
The process of repatriating the body may be time consuming and we ask your patience. Arrangements will be announced for the Homegoing Celebration for our dear sister as soon as they are finalized.
