🔹 About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Accounts Department on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will provide efficient, timely, and accurate processing of accounts receivable transactions, ensuring compliance with established financial policies and procedures.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Maintain a current billing system.
Generate and distribute invoices using QuickBooks.
Follow up with clients to ensure timely payment.
Collect and correctly allocate payments.
Prepare and reconcile bank deposits.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in account balances.
Process reconciling adjustments and post payments to the sub-ledger.
Maintain customer files and accounts receivable records.
Generate aged receivables schedules and analyze outstanding balances.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Perform other related duties as required.
🔹 Qualifications & Experience
Post-secondary education; CAT or ACCA Level 1 required.
Mathematics and English mandatory.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounts receivables or general accounting.
Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and bookkeeping.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and commercial accounting systems.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
Strong skills in data entry and file management.
