The Right Reverend Claude Berkley, Bishop, lead today’s recognition of Lay Ministers and Sunday School Teachers of the Diocese.
The service was held at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Chaguanas, on the Feast of Saint Teresa of Avila. Bishop Berkley was joined by The Venerable Edwin Primus, Vicar General; The Very Rev’d Dr. Shelley-Ann Tenia, Dean of the Holy Trinity Cathedral; The Rev’d Canon Ashton Gomez; The Rev’d Canon Aaron Charles; The Rev’d Canon Dr. Eric Thompson and other members of Clergy.
Dozens of Lay Ministers and Sunday School Teachers were recognised for their unwavering dedication to their respective ministries and the significant role they play in the ongoing work of their Churches and the Diocese.
